My bass player doesnt want too buy another bass yet alone a 5 or 6 string. So he heard from a GC saleguy that they make Hipshot tuners for bass and guitar so you can alternate tune on the fly.
Anyone use a Bass Hipshot or know someone who has? Thoughts?
Im sure Ill be the one installing it as well.
Thanks.

Looks like a pretty cool system. 4 string bass are easier to play (for me) however, quality 5 strings can be had cheap.

If he loves his 4 string, then this might be something to consider. Looks pretty sharp... but probably pricey.

Yeah he gets sore hands playing anything thicker than the 4 string neck. They are price right around $100 a piece. They also have this wild alternate tuning bridge that looks incredible as well but hefty $$$$.
They seem to make some cool guitar hardware as well.
