ok is it ok to use electric guitar strings on my acoustic??? will it hurt anything.... strings cost alot here in town.... and have some electric guitar strings.. also my guitar is a electric/acoustic guitar....

There shouldn't be any problem using electric strings on an acoustic-electric, unless it's a classical guitar (made for nylon strings) which can be amplified. While classical acoustic-electrics do exist, they are a tiny minority of acoustic-electrics, and if yours has any metal strings on it it's almost certainly not a classical.

I had a Freshman Dreadnought in my guitar shop as a PX. It has electric guitar strings on and sounder pretty tinny and not good so I wouldnt recommend it. It wont do any harm though just kill the bass you would expect from your acoustic.
