I actually owned the Line 6 HD147 and thought it was amazing! Great amp for gigs and a perfect amp for recording. However, you definitely want the the FBV footswitch! The monster is packed with unlimited effects and pushes a whoppin 300 watts.

The Vetta is the line 6 model that I have not tried yet. But I cannot find one bad review on it.

Great Guitar Amps!

I don't know so much about the Vettas. But I love my Toneport for silent jamming/jamming on vaction, business, etc.
