Cab: Vader straight 4x12, anything with Eminence speakers
Guitar: Ibanez 7 string (not cheap a** variety)
Pedals, extras...: Wylde Wah, MXR 10 band eq, mogami cables, mini tortex picks

That's how I roll. 5150, 1960AX w/V30s, LPC w/EMGs, and a NS2.

my fav. death metal tone is definitely cannibal corpse (pat o'brian/jack owen era)

Mesa Boogie Dual Rectos through recto cabs
Whatever guitar with EMGs running through a Boss Metal Zone (keeley modded?) for a boost

pure brutality

I don't have it, but the overdrive/distortion on Mesa boogie Recitifer is brutal. I played on once, awesome.

Hells yeah ! I use a 5150 through a Marshall 1960 Slant cab. A Kramer with EMG 81/85 set. Boss NS-2 noise gate. I've done the bias mod to my 5150 and put in 5 ECC83S's instead of the 12AX7's. I use all JJ tubes, and OMG it sounds so friggin amazing. I play in a Death/Hardcore/Metal band, and it has to be one of the best setups you can use for this kind of music.

For those of you who want even more tonal capabilities not to mention MUCH BETTER TONE, you guys should look into the MXR 10-Band EQ.

It makes a massive difference, even with all the dials at 0 there is a significant impact.

I'm runnin' a Crate XT120-2x12(w/2 eminence texas heats) combo through a Randall 2x12-1x15(all Eminence Legends!)cab, and a Metal Muff w/top boost, mxr 6 band eq, digidelay, EH clone theory, Boss comp/sustainer, and Boss NS-2 noise suppressor. My axes are LTD M100FM, LTD EC500, and A Jackson KVX10 King V. All the guitars have Rockfield Fatass pups in the bridge and Mafia's in the neck with the exception of the EC500, its got Rockfield SWC's in it. I think EMG's suck. To muddy soundin' for me. I scoop the hell out of the mids too. With the 15 in the Randall cab, I can make your heart stop when I start chuggin' out some riffs. :hookem:

Well My favorite death metal tone for the Br00talz is either a dual rectifer in stereo with a mark III, peavey 6505+, or a engl fireball. It brings the pain

For guitars I love Emg's But i have also fell in love with Dimarzio's X2n7(for seven stringers)

Cab wise I choose Cl-80's and vintage 30's in an x pattern or vintage 30's

I use a bbe from time to time in the loop and a boost up front for added tightness.

And of course my favorite guitars of choice 7 STRING

If this setup or any setup remotely close to this doesn't wake up the dead the somethings wrong

it brings it :shred: :shred: :shred: :shred: >:D >:D

Recto in stereo with a MKIII + S3V3N string = owned!

I could imagine how bad ass that set up is. Clips?

you might laugh at my death metal set-up.. or lack there of it..

Mesa Dual rect. Roadster head
Stiletto slant cab w/ vintage 30's
Seymour duncan livewire pickups.
and for that little boost a Krank Krankshaft pedal

Very simple setup.. nothing fancy at all

sorry no clips yet, but i am working on it... right now for my guitar clips im running straight into a boss recorder with presets, not a good sound at all.. but it does help to get things down, for the band... when i have clips ill gladly post them

Sweet. Not sure if you noticed, but inside your Gear-Space there's a player in there.. you can upload your clips to that directly from your hard drive.

However, the player is down right now.. the tech will be fixing it this week.
