Good trade????

I have a 1923 Alto Sax valued around $700 that I am looking to sell.

Got an offer for a trade for a Yamaha CG100. I see similar guitars selling on ebay for $225.

I'm feeling that the 'trade' is leaving me on the short end...

So you have a vintage sax that is worth $700 and you got a trade offer for an imported instrument worth $225?

Doesn't sound like a fair trade to me :confused: /shrugs.

Kind of what I thought.....

Didn't know if the CG was a 'hidden treasure' or there was something about it that I was missing.

The guy called me yesterday and said he "found a Yamaha sax that (he) fell in love with"....

To me it's like looking at an Aston Marin and buying a Hyundai Excel.
