Coldplay & Satriani Copyright Lawsuit Dismissed

Guitar hero Joe Satriani and British pop-rock band Coldplay have settled their legal entanglements and the guitarist's lawsuit alleging copyright infringement has been dismissed (http://xtrememusic.net/satriani-coldplay-settle-copyright-infringment), Satriani's representative confirmed to Billboard. While details of the case remain sealed, legal sources tell Billboard a financial settlement between the two parties may have been reached. Coldplay will not be required to admit to any wrongdoing.

both the songs are good, i mean this sort of thing happens all the time it can be considered flattery in some visualalities, i mean for example beethoven's ode to joy has been used in bright eyes' "Road To Joy" and the killers' "Mr. Brightside". but yes it's a legal mess when record companies are involved in any way
