To celebrate AcmeBarGig's first release in quite a while, we've decided to hit you with an extra special WEEK of releases. So, every day until next Monday we'll be releasing one amp from our all-new line of Classic Hybrid amps.
So that's 5 BRAND NEW releases from a line of amps that's managed to kick up so much excitement and expectation around the ABG virtual HQ that Ken's damn close to shitting in his hood(http://www.acmebargig.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=4) all over again! And who knows, we might even try something extra special on Monday, to mark the end of another groundbreaking period in AcmeBarGig's history, you'll just have to wait and see!
When we first started developing this latest line of amplifiers, we made it our mission to create some brand new 'Modern Classics' - plugins inspired by some of the most legendary amps of all-time - what we didn't expect to create a whole new line of utter gems. Amps that made us wonder how the hell those cats in the '60's didn't already make them!
And that's exactly what we have here, amps that as soon as we loaded up and cranked had us utterly amazed by their tone and character.
While hearing GREAT tone from these amps would not have surprised us in the slightest, after all, you're talking months of research and endless hours of coding, the tone we achieved was more than 'great', it felt 'ALIVE' - tone with enough character to convince you it was alive and breathing, being the tone geeks we all are, this got us very, very excited.
So, we hope that through the next 5 days we can, in turn, whet some appetites and transcend some of this excitement to you through Preampus Week, so kick back, plug in, and join us in our celebrations!
