This is a Mesa Boogie Mark IV "A" long head.  Loaded with JJ 6L6GC and wow!

These amps are only 3 channel but seem to be just as complex as 4 channel boogies.  Nice fluid tone. These do Dual Recto tones, but not as good. The Mark IV are more 'wet' in the chug - chug.  These amps can nail Pink Floyd tones... I can just sit here and noodle out some leads for hours upon hours... and zone off in my own little world.

Yeah alot of heavy heavy metal bands use these amps but remember there 98% not stock.. most bands mod them big time.
